Pei is a social psychologist and quantitative researcher who specializes in sexual and interpersonal processes. Some of her areas of interest include self-esteem, motivation, mood effects, how people form perceptions, and sexual attitudes and behaviors. Besides voyeuristic research, she gets excited by continuous learning and growth and is on a mission to encourage more self-rediscovery in people.
Being in academia for over a decade has equipped Pei with knowledge and skills in sexual and interpersonal processes, scientific thinking, and quantitative research methods. She has developed and instructed courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as workshops and talks for the community. Her research work has been published in international scientific journals such as Archives of Sexual Behavior and Journal of Cross-Cultural Psychology and featured in local newspapers and magazines such as Malay Mail, The Star, Says, and The Edge. She has also been interviewed on Traxx FM and BFM.
She is currently an adjunct lecturer at Monash University Malaysia and freelances as a scientific consultant for O.School. Like Evelyn, Pei is also a certified HRD Corp (Human Resource Development Corporation; previously known as HRDF) trainer.
