Kah Hoe is a guy who has no clue about football and cars; but has received extensive training about stress, trauma, specialized intervention, violence, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and trauma recovery for years in a mental health organization. He completed his Master in Clinical Psychology, and has been working in a multidisciplinary team since 2015.

With his training and experience within the context of nongovernmental organization (NGO), hospital, and private centres, he able to carry out psychological assessments for diagnostic purposes, and adopts cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) as his main therapeutic approach. Kah Hoe works mainly with the adult population with various mental health problems, such as stress, depression, anxiety, and posttraumatic stress disorder. He is passionate about delivering mental health services to the marginalized/ underprivileged population, with experience that extends to providing mental health services to refugees.

Aside from his current advocacy related day job at an non-governmental organization (NGO), he wears the therapist’s hat on the weekends for clinical work.

He enjoys serenity in both nature and urban environments, and secretly craves high-risk activities such as bungee jumping, or night trekking.
